Cowboy hat aficionado Pharrell Williams was finally confronted about the internet’s long-held theory that he is actually a baby-faced vampire given the fact he has not aged one bit in a number of decades and/or centuries (see above gallery for the conclusive evidence). Seeing as “is Pharrell a vampire” is the most-asked Pharrell-related question on Google, the eternally youthful producer decided it was time to provide his side of the story.

In an interview with Time Out London, Pharrell said this when asked, word-for-word, “Are you a vampire?”:

“No I am not. I’m willing to go on record as saying that I don’t drink people’s blood. How do I stay so young-looking for a 40-year-old? I wash my face.”

I don’t know, that does kind of sound like something a vampire would say. Note how unspecific he was being. Wash your face with what, Pharrell? The blood of a newborn orphan?
